		<description>KOTH should be required watching for new Texans. But the longer you live here, the more you get all the insider Texas jokes in that program ... it&#039;s really funny. And from what I&#039;ve seen, it IS a good example of what the smaller towns in Texas (that are NOT in the Austin MSA) are like. The Austin area stands out in sharp contrast to the rest of the state, as I&#039;m sure you&#039;re figuring out.

Here&#039;s an example for you: I went north a few days ago to drive around, just because I was bored. I was about 50 miles from Austin, in a mid-sized town. I had to stop at a gas station there, and I was behind a woman with lots of piercings, several tats (or as my husband would say &#039;tramp stamps&#039;) and a T-shirt that had a confederate flag on it, and the words, &quot;If you don&#039;t like peaches, don&#039;t shake my tree.&quot; (insert eye roll)</description>
