We have a visitor from corporate who is there to audit our files - make sure we’re compliant and all. I walked into Dave’s office to see the corporate lady sitting there. I spoke to Dave for a few minutes and was about to go when Dave asked if she’d audited my folders. The following exchange took place.

Dave: Have you audited Jeremy’s folders?

Corporate Lady: No.

Me: There is no need to audit his folders. He is not who were are looking for (as I held my hand in the most Jedi way I could muster.

Dave: Ohhh! He’s pulling a Jedi Mind Tricker. Nice!

Corporate Lady: (blink, blink, blink)

Update: I got away with no audit this time.? But corporate types scare easily.? They’ll be back, and in greater numbers.
