Hey kids. For those of us who were there, these photos will be interesting. For the rest of you, not so much. These photos were taken between 1995 and 2002 either in Cleveland or with Lee U people. Enjoy.
One of two ‘couch gags’ I pulled at Lee and the only one photographed. This took place at Lisette’s place in early 1996. There was a party game being played that left just two people alone in the living room while everyone else was in the bedroom. The other person and I, if memory serves me it was Neil, moved the couch into the hallway. Someone was sent to get us and we took them into the hall with us. Someone was sent to see what the hold-up was and we took them as well. Someone was sent again and…well, you get the pattern.
Before long we had all the guys at the party on the now folded out bed. At the last second Ondria jumped on for the photo. Grrr. There’s another one without her but the color is all off. The run down on the crew is as follows: Paul Johnson, Mark Lamanga, Gerry Anderson, Emanuel ?, Bill Woodruff, Neil Sheiblhut, Trent ?, Ariel ?, Phillip Price, and Ondria Johnson. The photo was taken in April of 1996.
As an aside, the other couch gag took place at Chris’ apartment. He and Ondria left to go to the post office and while they were gone we took all of Chris’ living room furniture and placed in on the front sidewalk of his building, set up just as it’d been inside; lamps, rug, everything. When he and Ondria finally returned she asked us to leave it so she could get her camera. While she and Chris were gone we put everything back and left.
I’ve always loved this picture of Melanie M. She’s one of the good ones.
In 1995 Lee Collge closed the old dining hall to make it much, much larger. During the construction we had to eat in the gym. This would be Leah, me, Chris, Jay, Bill, Sharlinda, and Phillip Thorp having what looks to be either hamburgers or maybe chicken patties. It’s hard to say.
